First day of Easter vacation… finally!
This evening I’ll be on Stromboli,a volcanic island off the coast of Sicily.We’re spending the next few days in a small village there, with a population of about 40.
So,it should be a bit quieter and more relaxing than Palermo.
It’s gorgeous weather today. In between meetings I decided to take some time with a coffee in the sun. So warm. Love it.
Yesterday I saw in the news that the area around Barcelona is facing a massive water crisis. It is very bad, especially for such a touristic area. It’s not even summer yet and they can’t just make water happen. They’re talking about desalination and stuff but yeah. Scary stuff.
There’s this young Italian driver in Formula 2 currently named Kimi Antonelli who people are pretty high on, and it’s so confusing to constantly see headlines about “Kimi maybe driving for Mercedes” and so on. Like, Räikkönen is back? Oh…
I kinda want him to make it into Formula 1 though, because he would be the second Italian F1 driver named after a Finnish world champion. Him of course being named after Kimi Räikkönen, and if any of you remember Jarno Trulli, he was named after Jarno Saarinen who raced motorcycles and sadly died in a crash in Monza in the early 70s.
