Met a girl over spring break, hit it off really well, went the whole 4 bases, and at the end of the night she told me to be her date at formal in a few weeks. I was like yeah sure whatever and didn’t think anything of it since we were drunk. But she’s messaged me and asked about it the past 3 days. We both go to acc schools and it’s 3 hours away but I really don’t mind the drive with how well we hit it off together and her still asking about it soberly. Plus I’ve always wanted to go to a formal before I graduate college.
I’ve never been in a fraternity and I’m kind of intimidated by the thought of it, but you miss all the shots you don’t take. I’ve been seeing a lot recently that once frat guys figure out you’re not in a fraternity, they’re douches to you.
Anyways, I need advice for the outfit I plan on wearing as I’ve never been to a formal before.
Peter Millar navy blazer, white button down, orange mallard tie, khakis, tan dress boots. Of course watch and necklace.
ALSO: I understand this was a spring break fling but we did have a connection that I normally don’t find with “bar flings”. It’s typically just a hi and then they leave. I’m still going to confirm every now and then over the weeks leading up to it, I’m not gonna be stupid.
