I (22F) am almost completely sure that my boyfriend (26) of three years is addicted to porn and I don’t know what to do. We’ve had issues with it in the past when I caught him messaging OF girls and commenting on their posts. We fought, made up, and he promised that he would never do anything like that again. Every time it’s brought up, I try to explain to him that I’m not mad at him for watching porn in itself, it’s when he searches out specific women or attempts to/gets in contact with them. He said he understood and we’ve been alright.
Things have been good for the past six months or so, no weird behavior, though I wasn’t particularly looking for it lol. About a week or so ago though, he started acting slightly off. Last night, I got a really bad gut feeling and looked in his phone. When I opened his phone it was open to Reddit, where I found a second account where he’s in tons of porn subreddits. Including swinger subreddits for our state. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if he’s done anything else but I don’t know if I should take his word on it if I confront him. I feel so sick and I just want to be able to trust him.
Does anyone have any advice? I really do love him, but I’m terrified now, especially because we’ve had multiple incidents in the past. Should I confront him? Should I consider leaving? Or am I being overdramatic?
