I am usually a very aloof and witty person, making jokes left right and centre, but I often see people idolising and looking up to people more “stoic”. People more quiet, who speak less and seem way bolder. Such characters are also not hard to find in romance novels or films. Should I be more like that if I want to truly be respected? Also, should I perhaps lie sometimes to make me seem way tougher than I am and sort of fake it till I make it? Is that sort of an attitude more helpful for professional success later?
