How long is too long to text back?

I (25F) met a guy (26M) at a bar last night and we talked all night and got pretty feely touchy, we even ended up kissing. The conversation went great and he even asked me for my number texted me right away with some of his favorite restaurants and I suggested picking up Italian food since he said he knew some pretty good spots. He even named one of the nicer restaurants saying that we should go to that one. This all happened last night and the last text I sent before going to bed pretty late was asking when he was free so we could make it happen. He hasn’t responded, and although it hasn’t been a full 24 hours since the last text I’m wondering if he even will? This is my first time meeting someone at a bar that I actually liked enough, every other guy I’ve met has been through common hobbies or friends of friends and I’m never questioning if they are interested. I’m probably over thinking but what is an acceptable amount of time for him to respond? Also did I make a mistake by kissing him? This is literally the first time I’ve kissed someone I just met I wonder if that made “the chase” not a chase if that makes sense. Thoughts on the situation??
