I started a new job at a grocery store, in the produce dept. a few weeks back and a girl in the deli and i have been pretty cool the first few weeks of work, we usually see each other on the way in/out and always stop to chat and if we pass each other while working we also always stop to chat. She makes it a point to know what days i work with her…
Today i mustered up some courage on my way out, to, while chatting with her, ask for her number… im used to using dating apps so i probably wasnt too eloquent about it but i didnt say anything dumb just “would you wanna give me your number, maybe we could go out sometime” and she laughed a little to which i said “oh” fake laughed “thats alright, goodnight”
However she stopped me and continued to ask me when i was working next and when she heard that i was working Saturday morning, she said “ooohh so am i”
Im so confused… didnt get her number, she laughed at me, but is seemingly flirting with me… idk
