(30, M) Basically, I’m having trouble with the two ends of the spectrum of dating.

I’ve been a little burnt out by dating and more specifically the dating apps, so I’ve deleted them all. They went fairly well, but I just needed a break from them.

I’m trying to generate more social interactions with new people so have been looking to attend a running club and other activities.

However, I’m knackered from the week behind me and I don’t feel like I’ll be the best socially.

Should I be living life to the full and trying to grab at every chance of meeting new people? Or should I take some time to recharge my social battery?

I always feel I owe it to myself to explore every single opportunity as that’s how you give yourself the best chance of finding someone, but also I do need to learn that it isn’t always the best course of action.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I be as active as possible or should I recognise that opportunity is only opportunity when it’s in the moment, and it’s fine to have one pass you by every now and then?
