He (M24) wouldn’t let me (F22) leave clothes at his place then ghosted?
I (F22) have been seeing this guy (24M) and I spent the night at his house two days ago. As I was packing up to leave I told him I was going to leave a shirt by him and would get it the following night. (He invited me to come back)
He then says “why would you leave your shirt here?” I said I didn’t have room for it in my bag and I could get it the following night. He then tells me “ I don’t want you to leave your stuff here, you’re not on that level yet.” This took me so far back bc I really liked him and thought it was mutual..
I replied with “levels?” (Bc wtf I’ve been seeing him for 4 months) and he nodded. I asked him if he had other girls over to which he says no and that I’m “reading into it too much” & he just “doesn’t want to hold my stuff”
I essentially said okay, but felt really hurt. I told him I wasnt upset and didn’t want him to change his mind bc I assumed it was setting a boundary. But I felt so shocked and almost offended so I shut down and just said “on that note, goodbye”
I just didn’t want to stay bc I felt disrespected— I left his room and walked myself out.. I texted him saying i wasn’t mad and hope we’re good, it’s been a day and he hasn’t replied… can someone tell me if I’m in the wrong or what I should do now?
