I am a queer woman and recently downloaded HER (gay dating app) in hopes to possibly find a relationship. One of the girls that liked me and I have the choice to like back is 18 and I am 19. Now I know that this age gap is only a year difference and they are no longer a minor, so initially it is not weird.
However… reading through her profile, she is still in high school graduating this year while I am going into my second year of university AFTER taking a gap year as well (I have a late birthday and graduated at 17 if the math isn’t making sense). So my main issue is the stages of life we are in and if the maturity levels will be too different. She’s also a Scorpio so it’s not like she’s turning 19 right away, but I’m a Libra so I have almost exactly one year up on her. Am I overthinking this? Should I just match and see what happens?
I also don’t want people to think I’m a creep for going for someone still in high school since even though it’s a year, I’ve been out of high school for almost like 2 and a half years… please help

I think you’re overthinking this. School’s almost out anyways so she would be graduating fairly soon. So even if you did have to put up with a comment or two about how you dated somebody in high school it’s not going to be for very long.

You won’t be mature just because you graduated, or went to university ect. Your maturity depends on you eq not iq. It is in connection with your age but you can grow old and die immature and you can be quite matured and have a good point of view on life at the age of 16. AND this is not even a real age gap XDD talk about age gap if its starts at 10
