I recently started an internship as a Software Engineer. All other engineers at my workplace are male and a lot older than me and we have a manager. The issue that I’m having is that my manager asks one of the developers to give me certain tasks, but the developer keeps delaying, sometimes even up to a week and I just sit doing nothing. I’m very socially awkward and want to always please everyone and so I ‘m having trouble and I don’t know what to do and how to make them take me seriously, what would your advice be?
