My boyfriend of 7 months went to a party on his birthday, the next week I was sent pictures of one of his girl friends laying her head on his lap while he was playing with her hair. When I confronted him about it he said that he considered this to be a normal interaction and didn’t think much of it since she was feeling ill and left 15 minutes later anyways. Now I don’t know if I should consider this dating, I talked to a couple of my friends and they all had a range of opinions on this but nonetheless, I still can’t get the pictures out of my head a month later.
I forgave him I guess and we are still together but I still can’t get it out if my head. I just think that if he thought this was a “normal interaction” what else would he also consider normal? I don’t drink or smoke or go to parties while he does, and he straight up told me that he doesn’t want me forbidding him from doing any of these stuff but I’m so scared he will do something similar again. He has so many girl friends and he’s quite attractive so he always had a lot of girls approaching him.
I would really appreciate an outsider’s input on this.
