How do you even reach the point of nationals? In my head it goes somewhat like, you go to regionals, then you win the championships and go to states, and if you win that you reach nationals. Am I correct? Also, for example, if you lost the State Championships the previous year, would you be able to compete the next year and reach nationals if you win the States this time around? I barely know a thing about sports, and soccer overall, so I’d also appreciate any additional information related to how it works in the schools, like the tournaments, etc. so please, enlighten me! (especially if you were on a team in the 80s or 90s)
