Hey all, I went to sign up for at a union hall (very blue collar, old school kinda job) and when I walked in I fell down the stairs. After a couple of curse words and a bit of pain, the guys made sure I was ok, and aside from a little soreness my ego was the most bruised. No one was nasty about it, but a couple of the dudes definitely joked about it (gotta watch yourself around the stairs! Etc.)
Now I know it’s objectively funny, but now I’m worried it’s all I’m gonna hear next time I go in/if they accept my application. Any way to stop worrying so much about it? I think I turned more red than a tomato when I walked in lol
