so the guy i’m with now could not be a better lover and partner! he is sweet, kind, genuine, empathetic, extremely attractive, and just an all around catch…except he kind of smells bad. and it’s not even him necessarily. he lives with his brother who has a dog and the house itself smells like a dog that has never been washed. just like the worst smell of dirty dog. which is then the smell that carries on his clothes and what not because that’s where all his stuff is.
we haven’t been dating for too long so idk what to do…definitely not breaking up with him over it, but also hate the smell. i’ve always been very paranoid about being stinky so it def can get to me. we usually hang out at my house so it’s not too big of an issue but the smell does stick to his clothes so there’s always atleast a faint scent of it. the last thing i wanna do is hurt his feelings or embarrass him but i truly don’t know how to go about this or bring it up without doing so..any advice or recommendations?
