I’ve recently been helping my mom move, and in the process we discovered a letter that was sent to her decades ago, from an American relative that managed to track us down. My mom never responded, which I find very sad. How would you view a response from us now? I appreciate that it’d be completely out of the blue, but would you still like a reply from your European family? Please advise
