I find most stuff on YouTube to be garbage or geared towards kids and teens. Are there any channels that are high quality and produce stuff for adults? I’m thinking topics like mental health, raising kids, rekindling a marriage, investing, business, and finding meaning, peace, and happiness with it all. Stuff to help us deal with our every day lives.

  2. There are a lot of channels that produce great content for adults, however none of the content I watch is geared towards the particular topics you’ve mentioned. Personally, I enjoy FitnessFAQs, Doug Demuro, Veritasium, Technology Connections, Smarter Everyday, SimonsterStrength, DeviantOllam and Lockpicking lawyer.

  3. The depth of content available on YouTube is astounding. A quick search for any of the topics you mentioned should turn up more ideas than you’ll have time to consume. Majority of my content consumption is via YouTube and I never see childish videos on my feed. Dumb ones, sure…but nothing really created for children. Just do some searching, the results are usually ordered my view/like counts so you’ll quickly identify some channels that offer solid content.

  9. Beau Miles. He is a down to earth Aussie who is an outdoor education lecturer, but makes videos of him doing random things, just because. Like staying the night in a tree… In his late 30s, just cos.

He’s quite the character, very funny, and has a great child like wonder which is quite fitting for men in their 30s and 40s who may feel a bit burnt out.
