Okay so long story short I’m an 18M from Argentina who recently on a trip to the Caribbean met a 20F from the US who I had a ton of fun with (Completely friendly interactions, we were both in a relationship) so when it was time to say goodbye I asked her if I could follow her on Instagram so we could keep contact. The thing is now that we are each in our country talking with her makes me feel like I’m interviewing her, I have to ask questions in order to keep the conversation going and she doesn’t seem interested when I talk about my things. I would totally understand if she just wasn’t interested in talking with me but I find that hard to believe after the great time we spent together and how easily the conversation flowed in person, so i’m more inclined to think this is due to my lack of skills comunicating in English (This is practically my first time having a 1 on 1 conversation with a native English speaker). I would appreciate any advice on how to make my messages more easily “respondable” or how to start conversations that flow more smoothly. Thanks in advance
