i (24F) tested positive genital gonorrhea recently. been w my bf (25M) of two years and sexually active with him only. I got my ceftriaxone shot the day i got diagnose and im on doxycyxline for 7 days. On day 6 now.
My bf hasnt tested or treated yet. He will soon just waiting for his appointment. He has no symptoms whatsoever. Meanwhile i had yellow discharge and pain on my inner labia for the past two months.
While waiting for him to get tested, can i kiss/makeout w my bf. I had given him oral the past two years and my last intercourse before i started having the symptoms on my genital. since i am on treatment currently. Can i get it back from him if we kissed? (we both do not know if we have oral gonorrhea, only symptoms are on MY genital) I also accidentally shared a straw today with him cuz i forgot about oral gonorrhea. im worried that i reinfected myself with oral gonorrhea. Do i need extra shot of ceftriaxone? or would i be fine?
We have abstained from oral and intercourse for the past two months already.
