You hear stories about men actively avoiding women at work nowdays unless it’s absolutely necessary. A side effect of the “MeToo” movement? For example, if a man approaches a woman in a non-sexual way at work, a woman can complain to management that he made her feel “uncomfortable”. And management tends to always side with the woman and the man loses his job.

Just curious how true that is or is it just exaggeration?

**EDIT: I’ll give some examples. Like if a man comments on a woman’s new haircut or substantial weight loss, the woman can complain to management that “he made me feel uncomfortable “. Management does not want to risk legal entanglement or bad PR, so it’s just easier to fire the man.
