I text an old friend / coworker. She’s seems enthusiastic to hear from me. She asks me how I’m doing, and I open up about some how I’m not doing well. She tells me about how things are going well for her. I ask her a bunch of questions, basic details about her or promotion, etc. She makes a comment or two about what’s going on in my life, but doesn’t answer any other questions that I asked.
