I’m currently having an issue where I feel extreme guilt. I was in school with a guy that was always very sweet to me. I remember he once talked about his girlfriend but I wasn’t sure if they were still together. Fast forward, he texts me that he likes me and I told him “that’s sweet but I remember you once talked about being in a relationship, are you still with them?” And he proceeds to tell me no otherwise he wouldn’t say this stuff. This morning I woke up to a text saying “yeah I have a girlfriend” and I assume his girl either found out he texted me that or he feels guilt for denying it. I woke up to him blocking me on social media and on iMessage, I know this because the message didn’t deliver, and later sent in green. I feel extremely guilty but I know I did the right thing by asking.
