And why are they so short?

Had a test drive of three cars, one from Renault and one from Nissan and one from Kia.
With Nissan I was accompanied and it literally lasted 5 minutes or less. Was told not to take the car out of Eco mode and I was like 😐
Kia was longer around maybe 10 but still felt short.
Renault basically said “Take as long as you want. Just bring it back and don’t crash.”
I just find it awkward having someone else there and they ask me questions like what do I think and how I’m liking it and stuff. Basically having someone watch me lol.
