How popular is entertainment from abroad in the States? I am not talking about super mainstream trends like K-pop and K-drama, or Spanish music and media (as it is spoken widely in the States and taught in schools, so I assume Spanish media is consumed there a lot already). I mean less known countries and their media in their own languages.
Do you maybe watch Nordic noir shows? Are you in the Eurovision scene perhaps? Do you have any niche interests or idols from somewhere far from the US? Tell me! I have always pictured the States to be very self-consuming what comes to food, brands and media, that’s why I’m asking.
