A week before I installed Bumble I went overseas. I did not mention this trip in my profile: I don’t use social media, so have not posted about my trip and have only told friends and family about it.
I matched with someone today and one of the first questions was “You’ve travelled to <country> before? Wow!”.
Not that it matters but this person has a name that sounds like a name from the place I visited.
I also had Boo installed whilst I was in that country, but didn’t use it apart from checking messages once or twice.
Are Boo and Bumble owned by the same company and sharing data? How could they know Id been there?
