TL;DR Is a social media relationship status important?
I am very curious to see how other people in relationships feel about relationship status on their social media.
I’m 34F & He is 35M, we both have had abusive long term relationships in the past, but we seem to have a very healthy relationship together & have for a couple months now. I had asked him if he could change his Facebook relationship status because it says single .He told that it was stupid to even care If we put it on Facebook, it really hurt my feelings. I just can’t seem to get over it. Yes, we talked about it why I wanted it and he told me how he felt about it and we just didn’t agree so we agreed to disagree. So I am curious how other people feel about it.
