When you’re asked what your income is in the UK. Do they generally mean your income before or after it’s been taxed?
I’m moving back to the UK after being away for 20+ years. I’ve looked for rentals online and everywhere seems to ask for a minimum income. Problem is that I haven’t had a proper job in decades. If I offer to pay 3-6 months rent up front, will that work? Or are there better strategies? Cheers
