I’ve ran Into about 5 or 6 people from hs and college and see a common theme of spending most of their time just working and being with a significant other and 1 or 2 close friends, not being with a tight knit group of friends that you see consistently. Is this a normal and inevitable part of growing up? Or just is this bc of how nyc society is structured? I find it absolutely bizarre you can spend all day with people in hs and college and just drift apart because ur work schedules don’t align.
