I started work 12 months ago as a 19 year old apprentice and I have been really successful and picked up my work really quickly to the point where I have helped even train the new hire but we have hired someone who is 30 years old who also had no prior experience to do the same exact role as me as we have so much work but I have recently found out that they are being paid nearly 10k more than me for the exact same role and this has incredibly disheartened me from going every day as I feel like I’m being used when I am still helping train the new hire and do my own role for considerably less pay. Is this fair or not as I feel like they are taking advantage of me being young
