It’s not the way I dress. well maybe coz it’s summer i wear loose clothes, i am balding and less hair on scalp, i sport a beard and have a little paunch. Otherwise i am skinny.
I don’t mind if young kids call me uncle. But like youth! I mean yesterday this hindi speaking guy from a hardware store called me that.
Should I embrace it or say, kya mein aapka maa ki bhaiya hoon?
Indian context: Young people address elder men as uncle/bhaiya out of respect.
Translation: ‘Am I your mother’s brother?’
