Is there any social skills book that is not bourgeois coded? And what I mean by bourgeois coded is that the book is intended for people that are seeking business connection or that puts a lot of emphasis on like networking and getting a better job. I know that in all the social interaction there is a part where every party is seeking their interest, but I’m not trying to hear 500 pages of how to meet the CEO of the company that I want to work for. It’s more of a book that can help me navigate social situations, like where they talk about the normal social situation that people go into daily, and where I can speak on it.

A book that talks about the social dynamics with different type of settings, like bar, family gathering, or meeting with an elder, with authority, like at work, but not highly emphasis on the concept of gaining some kind of interest or sympathy from others, but just navigating this situation with more understanding of them, and with ease, making everything finer, like not trying to get the business card from someone. Yeah, any recommendations, books, blogs. Thank you.
