So me and my boyfriend have been dating for more than a year now and committed into a relationship for 5 months. I have never had sex before tho I have been sexually intimate with previous partners and my boyfriend has had sex before multiple times. We’re sexually intimate together quite often but just never actually have sex. We communicate fairly well and have talked about having sex together before. I know he’s scared of taking my virginity because he’s scared I might regret it or that I’m not really ready and he thinks I’m telling him I am to please him. But I’m actually ready and have been for a long time as I trust him and know he will respect me and my body. The issue is I’ve tried communicating to him that I’m actually ready and that I’m not lying to make him happy. That I really want him to take my virginity. But I know deep down he thinks I’m not. I really want to have sex with him but I don’t know how to make him understand that I actually want to. What should I do?
