So l don’t know if this is the right group to put this on but I just need some help. I have been suffering with a really itchy vagina and it is really painful. It started two days ago and I also started my period yesterday. Usually, my vagina gets slightly achy on my period but nothing that bothers me. But this is considerably more achy and painful but it hurts when I stand up and first sit down. It’s really itchy when I walk or my clothes run against it and just anything makes it itch.
I originally thought it might be a yeast infection but I don’t have any discharge like people describe. I also thought it may be from washing my vagina with soap. But now I’m thinking it might be a UTI because I was talking to someone who had one and it sounds like what I have but I am not needing to urinate more than usual.
I am really confused about what this could be so does any one know from what I have explained? I know if it gets worse I will speak to a doctor I’m just curious to what it could be. Also what could I use to treat the itchiness??
