UPDATE:

I do not believe she is leading me on. She is a very kind person with a good heart. I have known her for 7 years now, ever since middle school. We are both 18, she doesnt have any experience whatsoever, these horrible and negative comments are making me sick.

I (M18) have had a crush on a F(18) for about 5 years now. I confessed to her 2 weeks ago and she took it well. Hugging me, texted me later on that she smiled the whole way home and asked to have a talk soon, I also bought her flowers which she still has on her windowboard.

Now after 2 failed attempts where we talked about everything but the elephant in the room and pretended nothing has changed, we finally made things clear between us.

She told me she likes me very much, and the most out of our friend group, but has seen me as a friend and that she generally isn’t sure what she wants yet. She seemed nervous but genuine.

She said she has never really thought of this relationship/romance stuff, hasnt had a partner or any experience in that matter. She is into men and women, but it really depends on the person.

She said that we can meet up more, just the two of us alone, get to know one another better and see if something evolves.

How do I navigate from here? How can I play this right without making her feel pressured or uncomfortable, but still get out of the friend-zone?
