I was at a busy mall and asked around about a McDonalds nearby since I’m unfamiliar with the area
I asked a security guard in one of the stores I passed and he looks me dead in the eyes and says “really?”. I start to get on edge because he looked like I killed his dog. Then he says he doesn’t believe that I don’t know the way. I say I don’t. He reiterates and says people mess with him all the time knowing where it is, but they ask him anyway
I was getting really nervous and reassured him I’m not messing around with him. He gives me the directions and I leave.
My social anxiety shot up through the roof. Fml
Edit: I tried using Google maps but it doesn’t tell you to take the escalators, so I asked him if it’s up or down
