I am a 25-year-old man standing at 5’11” and weighing around 215 pounds. I have long curly locks and struggle to grow facial hair, which tends to look like a scrappy dirt patch. Mentally, I still feel like a teenager rather than an adult.

Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m not taken seriously and don’t feel like the man of the house. I often get talked over and overlooked, and I struggle with feeling attractive. There was a time when I weighed between 190-200 pounds, threw mattresses in a trailer, and felt confident with my slightly bigger arms. However, now I feel like I’m under a curse that I can’t shake off.

I used to be bigger with short hair, weighing between 240-250 pounds with a buzz cut, which made me look younger than my age. I’m hesitant to go back to short hair because I fear it will emphasize my youthful appearance even more. I’m about to make a significant financial decision by joining Peak Fitness Club to start losing weight and building muscle.

I’m seeking advice on how to garner more attention from women, be taken more seriously, and feel more attractive overall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
