When is it alright to ask out again?

So I went on a really nice date with a friend a couple of weeks back, however she just said that she wants to stay friends and if it goes somewhere that’s cool, but if it doesn’t being friends is also cool, which I agree with. How can I tell if it would be appropriate to ask her out again?
