I (26 M) met a girl (20 F) the other month at a friend’s birthday party. We hit it off quite nicely, and I gave her a message the next day saying it was nice to meet her. She responded saying she liked meeting me and wanted to hang out sometime.
We finally got round to having a coffee last weekend, and the chemistry was great. We talked for three hours straight with no awkwardness and any silences we had were brief and not uncomfortable.
We’re planning on meeting up again soon, but I’ve been thinking about the age gap a little bit. She’s pretty mature and I don’t feel like there’s much of a difference between us in that regard, and I’ve spoken to some friends who didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. Just need to hear some outsider perspectives.
