I (21M) have a close friend who we were discussing relationships. She (21F) told me that she kissed a guy who’s 25 however they aren’t dating and aren’t sure whether they want friendship or a relationship. I told her that it’s too early to kiss someone who isn’t your boyfriend and the age gap is a little concerning. I told her to be assertive with him as I’m concerned that he’s trying to rush things. She told me that if they remained friends they still wanted something sexual, like fwb, which I feel isn’t right because fwb isn’t true love and comes with drawbacks such as risk of STDs or pregnancy. They’ve known each other for a few months btw. I believe that relationships shouldn’t be rushed and it takes time to find the right person.
tl;dr – i don’t think that my friend should enter a relationship with someone who I don’t trust.
