So I (F/20) met this guy (M/22), we went on a date, for the second date he invited me over for drinks. We got drunk and had sex, after that we did talk but he ignored and pretended the part in which we had sex had happened. He took me for dinner a month later, he said that he wanted to tell me something; it was that he did not want me to get attached with him because of what had happened, that he was not ready for a relationship, and that he tried to pretend that we hadn’t had sex but that it had to be addressed, because it was just a “slip”, a “little slip”, and he did not want me to get “hurt” by getting attached to him. Thing is, when he dropped me off at home he kissed me. I said jokingly “do friends kiss?” he replied: “sometimes they can, sometimes they can’t”.

Why did he say that, what does it even mean, did he mean to hurt me?. Why would you invite me over, or take me on a date if its not your intention to have anything with me?
