Chicken biryani ๐
Honestly, there aren’t many I don’t like especially the spicy ones. Any form of rogan josh, tikka masala, butter chicken, chaat papri, all samosas especially vegetarian, daal, any form of spiced paneer, beer, goat or chicken vindaloo, beef bhuna, raita, any and all naan, roti or chapati especially peshawari naan and my favourite dish, kheer!
Shahi Tukra or bread pudding. Best bread pudding I’ve ever had. It’s a contender for the best dessert I’ve ever eaten.
Coconut soup and roti are my favorites, but you canโt go wrong with a nice lamb curry.
Malai Kofta is my absolute favorite! But I love pretty much any vegetarian dish. ๐
I will name the ones Iove to make
Biryani
Pork Vindaloo
Butter Chicken
Naan and chicken curry
Sour bhindi curry
Aloo Tikki
Mutton Dosa
Kachori
Keema Samosa
Pav Bhaji
Samosa chaat
Pav with minced meat
Pallipalayam chicken
Lamb shanks curry
Onion fritters ( I love my mom’s recipe)
Cashewnut pakora
Rice, rasam, and chicken or mutton dry & papadam
Daahi chaat but damn I gained weight when I made it everyday
I also love to make various sides and gravies to go with rice but I make it only when my brother and his friends visit
Saag paneer, masala dosa, aloo gobi, chicken korma and rasgulla. Just to name a few favourites. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed in any Indian dish
I’ve yet to try things I didn’t like, honestly. I love malai kofta, I think that’s my current favourite curry.
My mum used to work with a woman who would bring in food for everyone’s families for diwali, which was the only time I’ve tried Indian sweets – she’d make gulab jamun, jalebi, and something else that I haven’t been able to figure out what it was – maybe milk cake? I’m not sure, it was these little squares, more dense than cakes I’m used to, very sweet. She put sprinkles on them, I loved them so much.

My roomie is Indian and she cooks the best food ever. I am never leaving her.
Rice and Dahl makes a great vegetarian meal, and you can make a batch of Dahl ahead to last a few meals.
Tikka Masala will forever be my favorite
Saag Paneer. Baingan bharta. Saffron Kulfi.
