I will always ask about people and their lives, where ur from, how you got here, ur last job, ur current job, what ur hobbies are, I want to get to know you. but no one EVER turns around and says “what about you”. No one asks me anything about myself, every conversation I have is just me prompting someone with what to say by asking a question, they say their speil and go quiet, I make comments on it or even ask another question in reply but still no one has ever tried to get to know me. I can have whole conversations and feel like the person isnt even talking to ME theyre just talking. I havnt had a friend since 2019, I guess I dont know how to make friends maybe but I engage in conversations and am nice, so why does no one care to know me? Do people just not try to make human connections these days?
