TL;DR: 25M is short on cash due to being a college student, but wants to spoil me 22F.
(Disclaimer I am not complaining about the generousity. I’m just concerned for his well-being mentally. Every time I’ve offered to pay him back, he denies saying, “Don’t worry about it.” It’s only courtesy that the gentleman always pays for the woman.)
I’ve been seeing this guy for a month now. He works limited hours due to going to college full-time, but he has a lot of expenses. Every time I want food, he insists on paying for it. We’re talking cheap eats under $10 most of the time. We’re both money conscious. He always wants to drive to pick me up (1 hour round trip) and be the designated driver when we go places together.
He’s trying to get a second job, as he only has $30 to spare every month after bills. He spends a lot more overall than that whenever we spend time together so I suspect he’s got an extra income coming from something else. I never expect him to pay for anything, but he’s just the sweetest gentleman.
