So, I’ve encountered many times that my Tinder/Bumble dates either:
1. Look disappointed in their faces the moment they see me when we first meet (I don’t use FaceApp, and I look exactly the same as my dating app photos. I do have some accent, but sometimes they seem disappointed even before I say hi).
2. Throughout the hours-long date, they ask ZERO questions about me. I’m aware that I shouldn’t make the interaction feel like an interview session, so we talk about things they’re interested in, like their countries, culture, their stories, etc. But they literally ask zero questions about basics like my job. Some of them leave only knowing my name.
I just find it ridiculous. Why do they want to go out with me in the first place? Are they just looking for a meal ticket? I usually go for cocktail and coffee dates though.
