  1. I notice that a lot of my European friends (mostly in their mid to late 20s) don’t really keep one job for a while. I see 3 months, 4 months, even 1 month!! And I’m not talking internships, im talking full time permanent jobs. And they change jobs or have huge career gaps, but they all seem fine and doing well in life! Is this just a normal thing in Europe? I feel like in America, it’s frowned upon to quit a job before a year is up, or to have career gaps.

  2. I had an absolutely brutal hangover today that’s lasted all day. Easily the worst hangover I’ve ever experienced in my life.

    Mezcal, not even once.

In the local wine shop they were loudly advertising their Israeli wine range that they were selling at their “lowest prices for 30 years!!!!”. I didn’t oblige, of course.

  3. So apparently Erdoğan made a request to change “Turkey” to “Türkiye” on official platforms a couple of years ago (childish prat) and I am the only one who’s not aware of this.

What’s your latest “how come everyone knows this but me” moment?
