22M here, let’s call myself **T**, matched with a 21yo girl, lets call her **A**.
Since im into guitars and bands, i swiped right as soon as i saw a picture of her playing guitar. I replied to her photo saying “God damn I am rizzed😔. Within a couple of minutes, she matched with me saying “Wanna get rizzed further??😔. I was quite surprised, excited nonetheless since this was only my 5th match. Keep in mind this was at 1:45am on Saturday as I am watching the Miami Grand Prix Qualifying.
I wasnt the only one trying to build a conversation the energy was reciprocated. We talked about electric guitars, telecaster, EVH’s iconic red guitar. She tells me she owns a Yamaha Pacifica, the conversation went smoothly.
The last text i sent her was at 4am before i slept, it was “Never say never, in this case you can coz ik ill never become a musician😔 but anyways what are your favourite bands?”. It was a question so she could resume the conversation the next day with ease.
So the next day I wakeup at 2pm, I talk to my mom on the phone then i check my phone for notifications hoping she had replied and she did! So me being excited that it was not another girl ghosting me, clicked the notification which read “In no order its metallica” and something else but couldnt read the full text from the notifications.
To my utter surprise, the chat didnt exist in the matches section…
I was quite surprised, so i searched the internet to see if someone else had their chats disappearing and it only happens when the person who matched unmatches…
Man doesnt this suck? I was in denial for about an hour coz everything went smoothly i could definitely tell that she didnt feel forced to text me… we were vibing, matching each others energies.
So my question is why? Why did this happen? Why me? I def didnt do anything wrong, I didnt cross lines, I didnt come across as clingy, i definitely wasnt weird, we were exchanging without any hesitation.
If she was going to unmatch why did she match in the first place?
This is just straight up sad since it got me questioning my self-worth…
People who have done this before, can yall explain why she did this?
