Is it bad to unfriended someone off of social media who you know you’ll never realistically see or hear from ever again?

I can think of multiple cases of this likely to happen

If its someone who you just drifted away from and communication eventually stops

Someone who you went to school with and you don’t see them daily like you used to

Or someone who you rekindled with after many years and it quickly dies again
