this has happened my whole life. nobody has pointed it out, but I do notice it myself. sometimes I’d be saying a sentence, and then I’d stumble and repeat part of the sentence.
examples:
“I loved how we saw Ms. Smith- Ms. Smith at the party.”
“Why can’t I decide- why can’t I [exaggerated sigh, pause] Why can’t I decide what to wear today?!”
“I’m never gonna give you- never gonna give you up!”
“I don’t get why- I don’t get why I do this.”
its like I’m a skipping CD. its weird, because it happens even if I know what I want to say. I’ve never been diagnosed with a speech problem. idk.
