I am currently receiving treatment from a private service but it’s funded by the NHS.

– “the service” we will call them is private but my medication is a standard NHS prescription.

– They then hand that prescription to a pharmacy (They use one pharmacy only I don’t get the choice).

– This pharmacy only allows you to set up a direct debit for prescriptions and deliver via post.

I can claim up to 5 prescription charges per year. When he now requested invoices for my NHS Prescription Charge, they’re said no!

Chemist says ask the private service, they don’t provide receipts for prescriptions from the service. BUT my payment is to the chemist on my bank statements!!!

Am I within my legal right, to ask for a receipt for the direct debit payment taken by the Chemist?

It’s so weird! They are they saying no!
