I have been seeing this girl for 8 weeks now. We are both late 30’s and she has an 18 year old kid at home. She said she was talking to another guy online when we first started hanging out. Anyway about 3 weeks into us seeing each other. I got busy and had to not see her for 2-3 weeks. During that time she began an fwb relationship with a guy whose about an hour drive away. Her reason was because I was busy and didn’t pay enough attention to her. So she said she wants us to be together but continue seeing this other guy till at least September. This is when her kid leaves for college and she wants to see how lonely she will be?
Originally she said that she only wanted to see the guy for a couple months and I was free to find another girl to sleep with. However she has since told me about the September thing. I do like this girl quite a but this seems completely sketchy.
I should also mention I am going on dates with her and taking her kid to the zoo and she keeps telling me she only wants to date me. This guy she is seeing is a recent widower and isnt interested in dating. Also apparently the guy is bisexual and has one male and one female partner also. I have already brought up to her that fwb usually ends in someone catching feelings. She keeps vehemently saying she isn’t interested in the guy and never will be. Also she is spending the night with the guy the last time they hung out and again tonight right now….
