Do you guys feel like when people give you compliments such as “You’re very friendly”, “You’re very likeable”, “You seem very intelligent, or if someone said about you that you look like a good guy, that they aren’t very meaningful? If so, why not?

I feel like some guys hate more basic compliments, especially from women. It’s seems like it won’t move them, unless it’s something deep like, “you’re the most talented person I know”, or “there’s no one id rather spend time with than you”
